This 10" diameter ash bowl is 4-5/8" high, and has about 7/16" wall thickness. This grain for this bowl is lovely and solid, however there is a small hairline crack at one side which has been teated & filled to prevent further cracking. Regardless, the crack is a flaw, so the price has been discounted.  Would make an excellent bowl for salads.
