California Live Oak burl bowl, 5 1/8" H x 11 1/4" D, with manzanita stitching. While I have never used stitching before, I felt the large void weakened strutcural integrity of the piece enough that stitches were warranted. It took quite a bit of hand  fitting to get them in, but end I like the look. Not to mention it's nice to know both of the woods used came from Idyllwild, California.
